Cape Raoul is one of Tasmania’s 60 Great Short Walks, it is a 5 hours return 14km Grade 4 walk. What starts as a pleasant bushwalk soon turns into a stunning, often breathtaking journey.

This 09-Minute wilderness cruise from Pennicott Wilderness Journeys goes beyond Port Arthur to take in the amazing cliffs and sandy beach of the Tasman Peninsula to Cape Raoul. With soaring sea cliffs and monumental rock formations, the Tasman National Park is a coastal wonderland. 

Shipstern Bluff is known for its big waves. This is a great walk - under 10km - through varying landscapes which takes you right down to the ocean from Cape Raoul. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 3 hours 45 minutes to complete. If time permits the Tunnel Bay track is only 30 minutes return.
